We are looking for a:
Continued Stay Clinical Reviewer, RN
in Washington, D.C. 👨🏽⚕️🩺
Direct Hire – Full Time
Start date: As soon as possible‼️
Job Responsibilities
* Perform onsite reviews for providers within Washington, DC, and Maryland.
* Strong Utilization Review, Clinical Review, and Quality
* Provide quality and utilization reviews of members’ needs of care, services, while meeting their acuity level.
* Develop care plans that include continued stay evaluations, meets patients’ needs, and regulations for Medicare, Medicaid, MDS, PASRR, and other standards.
* Knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare evaluation criteria processes strongly preferred.
* Familiarity with medical management applications, such as Jiva, Epic, etc.
Education & Other Requirements
* A degree or diploma in nursing.
* Current, active, unrestricted RN licensure in Washington, DC, or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
* 3+ years of clinical (direct patient care) work experience.
* 2+ years’ experience with Long Term Care facilities admission screening and development of care plans for patients
* 1+ years of continued stay utilization review or MDS experience preferred.
* Proficient with EMR and Microsoft office.
* Requires reliable transportation for onsite visits.
* Client requires proof of COVID vaccination or exemption status notation.
