The AIIM Standards Program has moved to the 3D PDF Consortium at http://www.3dpdfconsortium.org. In 2016, the AIIM Board of Directors decided that AIIM would no longer be a standards developer but would promote the use of standards. To ensure the standards work continued and did not leave products in limbo, the program was picked up by the 3D PDF Consortium. Please come work with us.

The StratML committee has approved part 2 of the StratML standard. The draft is now being reviewed by the AIIM standards board and will begin the public review process.

We are preparing for our AIIM Standards Week 2011 and hope that you will join us for the meetings. If you are able to attend the meetings, please try to bring a colleague or two with you. You won't be disappointed. Meetings will take place at the Washington, DC Convention Center, March 22-24, 2011. More information will be posted shortly.

If you should want to review them and provide comments, please send me a Facebook message. We like to make sure that we have everyone's thoughts in the standards to make them better.

We have posted an ISO ballot for a PDF/A-3 which allows embedded files/objects in a PDF/Archive file and keeps the file archival. If you would like to help review the draft standard, please post a note and we will forward you a copy or link to the document.
