K. Broughton Consulting Everyday knowledge & Management= Long Term Productivity Consulting to help with your calf needs. I specialize in group housing and the use of automatic feeders.

I offer farm visits to help increase your productivity call to set up a appt. My services come with 14 years of autofeeder experience and 17 years of overall calf raising experience. Background- We milk around 3,000 cows on our farm and I have about 250 calves in my group housed autofeeder operation. We also have another 200 wet calves housed in individual cages. Currently i am getting over 2 lbs

of daily gain feeding cooled whole milk boosted with while milk balancer. We Background for two weeks prior to the calves being loaded on the autofeeders. At the peak of feeding the calves are able to eat 15 liters. Calves are weaned at about 60-70 days and average 250 lbs.
