🍺 Simi Valley, this might be the biggest party you go to all year.

Oktoberfest 2026 is coming to Rancho Tapo Community Park, better known around here as Lemon Park, and I’m telling you everything you need to know before you go.

Here’s what’s waiting for you: 🥨 Real German food, bratwurst, giant pretzels, and sauerkraut 🍻 A full beer tent all day long 🎶 Live music from Hammerstein Musik Bavaria 💃 Dancing under the main tent 🎯 Games and contests with prizes 👗 Costumes welcome, dust off the lederhosen and dirndls

This is one of the biggest Oktoberfests you’ll find anywhere near Simi Valley, and it’s put on by the Rotary Club of Simi Sunrise. Runs rain or shine, and it’s a 21 and over event, so bring your ID.

Simi Valley, if you haven’t hit this parking lot on a Friday, you’re missing out. 🧺

The Simi Valley Farmers Market sets up every Friday from 11 to 3:30 in the Regal Plaza, right on the corner of Tapo Canyon and Alamo. There’s a Tuesday market too, at a different spot in town.

I walked through and found way more than I expected. Here’s what’s out there:

🧵 Clothes and handmade jewelry 🫔 Tamales and kettle corn 🍞 Fresh bread, baked goods, dried fruits and nuts ☕ Tea and coffee beans from a local roaster 🍯 Honey in flavors like orange blossom, wildflower, and avocado 🍅 Fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, and fish 🧆 Hummus in a bunch of different flavors 🌸 Flowers and plants

Is this the best farmers market in Simi Valley? I think it might be one of the best Friday mornings you can have here, period.

I filmed the whole thing at the end of August, and just put together a highlight video for you. Booths lined up with beer from local favorites. People laughing, drinking, and having a great time. And Bad Habit playing live while the crowd danced right along with them.

This isn’t a promo. The event’s already over. I just wanted to share the vibe with anyone who couldn’t make it out, or anyone who wants to relive it.

Simi Valley knows how to throw a party. If this is your kind of event, keep it on your radar for next year.

Zack's Bike Was Stolen. Let's Get Him Back on the Road.

Hi, I'm Steve. Zack is my son's friend, and I'm asking for your help.

A few days ago, someone stole Zack's brand new ebike right out of a friend's front yard. It wasn't just a bike. It was Zack's way of getting around.

Zack's mom works odd hours, and his dad lives in another city. That bike gave him the freedom to get where he needed to go and stay connected to his friends.

Zack's family already has a lot on their plate. Replacing a brand new ebike right now just isn't in the cards for them.

That's why I started this fundraiser. Every dollar goes toward getting Zack a new bike, and getting back that sense of independence and normalcy he lost.

Simi Valley, have you heard about the Lucha Libre charity event at Simi Valley Town Center? 🤼

I went out to check out this Lucha Libre wrestling night, and it’s about way more than the ring.

The whole night is hosted by Kid Gloves Boxing Foundation, a local Simi Valley nonprofit started by Robert Ortiz Sr., a Marine Corps veteran with almost 30 years in the gym.

Here’s the real story. This event raises money for mental health support for kids who’ve gone through abduction and kidnapping. Every dollar from Lucha Libre nights and boxing events goes straight to Kid Gloves’ youth, family, and veteran programs.
