My teaching program is based on years of experience with various trainers, training techniques and of course, trial and error. As a young rider I always thought it was best to hop on the horse and work out the problems from their backs. Now, as I have gotten older, gained more experience and hopefully am wiser, I am a firm believer in going back to the ground work. It's best to make sure the groun
d work is solid, and then continue on from there. Most of what we want to accomplish, we can accomplish from the ground. With the proper equipment and methods, you can have your horse working with beautiful collection, before ever getting on him. I believe in allowing the horse some time to teach himself, rather than having a rider fighting with him on his back. I love the horses, I love teaching, I want people to learn, build confidence and most of all, enjoy their horses! With all that being said, my core discipline is English, mainly hunters, equitation and under saddle and over fences. I love to haul to events and coach my teams to success. My personal goal is to have a show horse for myself in the next season to ride and have some fun with as well. We are never too old to start or to continue what our heart desires. Let’s make it happen! Hope to hear from you soon!
