It is with great sadness that we announce, yesterday morning our longest lasting employee, Rosendo has gone to the great scrap yard in the sky. Thankfully, he was with his brother at the time of his passing. Rosendo has been in the Camacho family since the beginning in 2004. Going to work everyday won't be the same. No mater what time I showed up, he was already on his second cup of coffee. His expertise in an excavator was unmatched.

One of the best employees I've ever had has recently been diagnosed with small cell lung cancer. Scott and his family would greatly appreciate any help. When I managed the roll-off containers before I acquired the recycling yards, I'd joke that, "If only I had three operational trucks and three Scott's to drive them..." Most recently he was my utility player bouncing back and forth between my Sinton and Beeville yards operating the excavators, buying nonferrous metals and handling scale operator duties.
