Bat facts! Identifying Features

Big brown bats (Eptesicus fuscus) are considered “large” for an American bat. They have brown to glossy copper-colored fur on their back with the belly fur being lighter. Their ears are small, rounded and black in color as are their wing membranes and tail. Their lips are fleshy and their nose is broad for the size of their face. Source: Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

Congratulations to our middle son💙 we got to spend the morning at his school as he got the President’s Academic Award for Educational Excellence. Our kids work so hard to do well at school and to be kind humans-so proud of him….3 days left until summer break!🙌☀️
