📣 RESTOCKED - we just finished restocking our display at Makers Exchange in Tea. We’ve refreshed the display with artwork handmade from used softballs and baseballs, as well as a variety of game day accessories to wear your love of the game. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Brandt Family as we mourn the passing of Bryce. For the last decade, Bryce was a steady presence in our small family business, taking on many different part-time roles - from baseball cutting, matting & framing, order packing and shipping, to most recently artwork assembly in his spare time.

Bryce would often comment how much he enjoyed working with his hands; creating art from the worn leather and tattered seams and he resonated deeply with our mission and purpose behind what we do - glorifying God and reflecting His love through the platform of baseball. By my estimation, well over 1,000 pieces of baseball artwork are hanging in homes across the country through the work of Bryce’s hands.

With Easter being less than 3 weeks away, we cling to the hope found in Easter - that Jesus conquered death and the grave! It doesn’t feel like it in the moment when you are walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but our Good Shepherd joins us there…leading, guiding, loving. He suffers with us and He suffered for us.

💥 HELP NAME THIS NEW ART - we have a new artwork releasing really soon, but we need your help! America will always be known as being the home of “America’s Game,” but we are running ideas for what to call this new patriotic home plate shaped original art series. We’ve already used “America’s Game” and “Seams of America” and “America’s Love” in other artwork series, so what should we call this one?

Some ideas:
1. “America’s Home”
2. “Baseball: America’s Home”
3. “Home of America’s Game”
4. Leave blank and let the art speak for itself
5. Other suggestions?

ABOUT THE ART
This new home plate shaped artwork is made from 2 actual used baseballs and a swatch of blue baseball mesh jersey material. The art sits in a 5x5 opening and is matted and framed to 10x10. The frame is both tabletop and wall mountable. Each piece will come signed and individually numbered in a new open ended series. Asking price will be $125 shipped. This custom baseball art creation is a cattle brand logo for the Hudson Folkerts Memorial Foundation, which is a non-profit started by the family of a high school boy who was tragically killed in an accident. My customer’s family was one of the recipients of a HFMF scholarship and this art was commissioned as a special thank you gift to be given to Hudson’s family.

NEW YORK - another large custom 1of1 original artwork out the door. This piece was commissioned by a local banking executive to give as a retirement gift for a fellow executive who is a huge fan. I repurposed 6 baseballs that were authenticated as being game used on 5/31/2022 on a game that the Yankees beat and the 9-1 in The Bronx.

I worked with my customer on overall size of the piece and they chose to go with premium matting and frame for an overall approx 18x20 frame size with museum glass. We cut out the and holograms still affixed to the remnant leather and adhered them to the artwork story card that came with this unique creation.

It’s an absolute joy creating unique and meaningful art for special occasions like this.
