6% of Gen Z wants to lead at a senior level. Let that land for a moment.

It's easy to chalk that up to a lack of ambition. But I'd push back on that.

They've watched what leadership looks like up close. The hours. The scrutiny. The emotional load. They've done a rational cost-benefit analysis and decided the trade isn't worth it.

That's not a pipeline problem. That's a design problem.

If we want the next generation to step into leadership, we have to stop making it look like a slow sacrifice β€” and start building roles that are actually sustainable and rewarding. What has to change first?

Attributes, ability, and skills. There IS a difference.

Here's a leadership question worth sitting with as AI becomes more embedded in how we work:

Are your leaders developing sharper judgment β€” or getting more comfortable deferring to the machine?

AI can process faster. What it can't do is own the outcome. Judgment requires a person willing to say: I weighed it, I considered the context, this is my call.

When that shifts, organizations don't just lose decisions. They lose the leaders willing to make them.

The most valuable leadership skill in the next decade? Judgment. Develop it intentionally.

People are reacting to life vs living life. It makes sense, but how do we break that cycle?

You don't need to be an athlete to attend Combat Culture. You just need to be ready to grow.

This retreat was built for real people β€” from all walks of life, all fitness levels, all backgrounds β€” who share one thing in common: the desire to be better.

No boxing experience required. No prior training. No judgment.

You set the intensity. The coaches guide the journey. The results? Entirely yours.

Combat Culture blends physical training with deep personal development work β€” because the mindset you build in the gym is the same one that changes your life outside of it.

Let's reframe psychological safety: it's not a feelings initiative β€” it's a performance strategy.

When people don't feel safe to tell the truth, organizations don't just lose morale. They lose critical information. Problems go unspoken. Ideas die before they're voiced.

Every struggling team I've encountered has the same root cause: at some point, honesty had a cost. People learned the lesson and stopped speaking up.

Create real safety in your culture, and everything else β€” innovation, retention, results β€” gets measurably easier.

How safe does your team feel to tell the truth right now?
