Rimrock Trails Welcomes Dani McCallister
Assessment and Resource Center Program Lead

(Prineville, Oregon) (September 1, 2026) – Rimrock Trails Treatment Services welcomes Dani McCallister to the team as the Assessment and Resource Center Program Lead at the Prineville Outpatient Clinic.

Dani brings 18 years of human services experience in community connections for youth and families, including launching the System of Care of Central Oregon. Born and raised in Prineville, she is passionate about serving and strengthening services in her hometown.

" I’m incredibly excited to welcome Dani to the Assessment and Resource Center team. I’ve had the opportunity to work with her in her previous role as a System of Care Coordinator, and I’ve seen firsthand her knowledge, passion, and ability to build meaningful community partnerships. Dani connects people; that’s what she does best. She understands the value of accessible behavioral health care and, just as importantly, understands the needs and strengths of the Crook County community. I’m excited to see the relationships and connections she will build in this role and am grateful to have her as part of our team."
-
Jackie Sharib, Outpatient Director

In her new role, Dani leads the Assessment Resource Center (ARC), which offers same-day behavioral health assessments and connects youth ages 18 and under with mental health and substance use treatment. For more information, call (541) 388-8459 or visit www.rimrocktrails.org.

Les Schwab Awards Family Access Network $15,000
Funds will support children in need throughout Crook County and Central Oregon

Bend, Ore. – The Family Access Network (FAN) recently received a $15,000 grant from Les Schwab in support of breaking down barriers to crucial resources for low-income children and their families. Half of this funding will go directly to FAN services in Crook County, while the other half will support FAN operations throughout Central Oregon. Many FAN families are low-income, living in poverty, or experiencing homelessness, including ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) families who earn more than the Federal Poverty Line, but still struggle to afford basic necessities due to the rising cost of living. FAN services connect children and their family members to resources including food, clothing, shelter, and school supplies so that students can come to school with their needs met, ready to learn, each day.

“Les Schwab has been a longtime, dedicated partner of FAN,” says Julie Lyche, FAN’s Executive Director. “They continue to show up for our local communities and it makes such a difference in the lives of the kids we serve.”

Les Schwab, launching in 1952 in Prineville, has hundreds of locations across the western states and is one of the largest independent tire businesses in the country. Since it first opened its doors, Les Schwab has been giving back, reinvesting in the communities where they work. Les Schwab has a history of supporting organizations that focus on vulnerable children, families in need, health and social services, and education.

Unique to Central Oregon, FAN began in 1993 and currently employs 28 advocates at 66 sites in Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties. These advocates work tirelessly to help families break the cycle of poverty. The direct placement of FAN advocates within schools allows FAN to effectively reach and connect children and families in need to essential resources to thrive.
To learn more about the Family Access Network, please visit familyaccessnetwork.org or call (541) 693-5675.

Family Access Network’s mission is to offer assistance, possibility and hope to Central Oregon families in need by connecting them with crucial resources that will help children flourish in school and in life. Every year, FAN advocates improve the lives of over 7,600 children and family members in Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties.
