By The Rains Photography Howdy!! My inspirations range from Dorothea Lange to Ansel Adams! I studied under Dr. Glen Cope and worked in his studio. But all in all... I do it for fun!!!

My name is Elysia, and I am the owner/creator of "By the Rains Photography!" I absolutely love photography and think it is one of the greatest things in the world! Gary Hart is a new favorite along with Natsumi Hayash (you have to check these people out)i!! ... I did get an Associates Degree major in Photography and Digital Imaging back in 2003. I prefer shooting real emotions, not staged or posed

really. I love shooting beautiful full of color and textures of landscapes, which I actually hated in the beginning.
