Internal Revenue Service has announced they will begin accepting returns Monday, January 26, 2026.

While the IRS has not officially announced the date that they will be accepting returns for the 2025 tax year, here are some key dates to keep in mind for this tax season:

Late January 2026: The date the IRS is expected to begin accepting and processing e-filed returns.

January 31, 2026: The deadline for employers to send out W-2 and most 1099 forms.

April 15, 2026: The federal tax filing and payment deadline for most taxpayers.

Late February/Early March 2026: The earliest date refunds for returns claiming the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) or Child Tax Credit (CTC) are expected to be issued, due to federal law requiring extra verification steps.

October 15, 2026: The extended filing deadline for those who request an automatic extension by April 15.

Our hours this year are Tuesday-Thursday 8am-6pm
Saturday 10am-3pm
Sunday by appointment only

There is a locked drop box on the door, if you would like to drop off your info when I'm not in the office.

IRS begins accepting returns tomorrow! I'll be out of the office until approximately 4pm, but plan on being there 4pm-6pm.
