We service Medix in CT, RI and MA...simple design, quality and reliability!

⚡Simple. Reliable. Easy to maintain.

Time and time again, customers tell us one of the things they appreciate most about a Medix ambulance is how easy it is to service, and our electrical system is a big reason why.

Electrical and environmental issues are among the leading causes of ambulance downtime. That's why we engineer our electrical systems to be straightforward, dependable, and easy to troubleshoot. Combined with responsive technical support from our service team, departments spend less time diagnosing problems and more time focused on serving their communities.

WHO THIS TRUCK IS FOR 🚒

We will be the first to say 250 gallons is about 90 seconds of water. So this isn't your engine replacement.

It's the apparatus that gets there first, in spaces your engine shouldn't be on, and puts water on it while everything else is still turning out.

Spencer Initial Attack #1740 is available now.

🛻 2024 Ford F-550 Crew Cab 4x4 · 6.7L diesel · 19,500 GVWR
💧 Hale DSD 1500 GPM · 250 gal · 10 gal Class A foam
📱 SAM pump control, screens both sides
🎯 Two SAM Smart Nozzles
🧱 Spencer Solid-Poly body — no rust, ever
🚿 Two 1¾" crosslays · 2½" front bumper line · 6" steamers both sides
🪜 12' ladder, pike poles, hard suction, 3 SCBA tubes

Here's why the small tank works. The Hale SAM smart nozzle gives the firefighter a tank gauge in their hand that displays green, yellow, red, and it flashes when you're about to be out. Meanwhile SAM handles the transition to hydrant or draft without anyone wrestling valves, auto-primes for draft, and refills the tank once you're on a source.

Small tank, fast source. That's the whole design.

That smart nozzle also holds your calibrated pressure up five floors, detects a kink and bumps pressure to clear it, and if it loses signal the line just works like a normal nozzle.

Who should be looking at this:
✅ Camp roads, dirt roads, long driveways, tight downtowns
✅ Anyone tired of putting engine miles on car fires and alarms
✅ No-hydrant departments running shuttle to feed a pump
✅ Replacing a tired mini-pumper, squad, or brush truck
✅ Departments where a custom engine won't clear town meeting

Lifetime body and tank warranty. Ten years on the stainless plumbing. Poly body means New England road salt is not your problem.

Thank you.

Our first-ever Open House brought 25+ departments and a dozen vendor partners out to the lot and the rain didn't slow anybody down.

We had 7 apparatus on site: a Medix Type I delivered to Pascoag earlier this year, two demo ambulances, a Spencer engine headed to Wilbraham soon, an HME delivered to Little Compton in 2024, a demo HME, and a demo Spencer quick attack with the SAM system.

But the trucks weren't the best part, it was the conversations with chiefs and committee members about their aging fleets, maintenance needs, replacement cycles and what their departments need over the next few years. That's the whole reason we did this.

To every department that made the trip: thank you for spending part of your day with us. And to our vendor partners, thank you for setting up and answering every question thrown at you.

See you next year.

Thank you Maynard FD for allowing us to be part of your response-ready mission.

NFPA Inspections: The Maynard Fire Department is currently conducting NFPA-compliant inspections on our Ambulance 1, Ambulance 2, Engine 1, Engine 2, and Ladder 1.

The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) develops nationally recognized safety standards that guide how fire departments maintain and inspect their equipment. These inspections include checking critical components such as pumps, ladders, emergency lighting, braking systems, medical equipment, and overall vehicle condition to ensure everything is functioning safely and effectively.

Routine NFPA inspections are a proactive form of preventive maintenance—helping us identify potential issues early, maintain peak performance, and most importantly, protect the safety of our firefighters and the community we serve.

This process will take approximately three days to complete. During this time, you may notice some of our apparatus parked off to the side of the station as they undergo inspection. Please know we remain fully operational and strategically stagger our apparatus to ensure continuous emergency response readiness.

Your safety is our priority—every call, every day.
