🚨 NEW FUNDING OPPORTUNITY FOR SMALL MANUFACTURERS 🚨

The SBA has announced a major new funding opportunity through the Empower to Grow (E2G) Program! 🇺🇸

💰 Up to $50 MILLION in grant awards will be distributed to as many as 10 eligible organizations that provide training and technical assistance to support small manufacturers.

The Manufacturing in America E2G Grant Initiative is designed to:
✔️ Strengthen domestic supply chains
✔️ Support critical industries
✔️ Bring jobs back to America
✔️ Promote industrial growth and innovation

We were so excited to attend the DesignAlabama Lunch & Learn hosted by the Lee-Russell Council of Governments and DesignAlabama this week at the Opelika Chamber of Commerce!

This incredible event focused on community design, sustainability, and regional growth - conversations that truly matter for the future of our cities and small towns.

We learned so much from Gina Clifford with DesignAlabama about how thoughtful planning, collaboration, and intentional design can transform communities. The insight shared during this session reinforces something we deeply believe at Amped-Up Grants: when leadership, vision, and strategy align, growth happens.

We are especially excited about what this could mean for the City of Smiths Station. We can’t wait to see the great things ahead as our region continues to invest in smart growth and strong community development.

What an absolute joy it was to hear Melinda Newton, aka the Chicken Lady, share the powerful legacy of Minnie’s Uptown and the entrepreneurial journey that brought her to where she is today 💛

We were beyond blessed that Melinda brought us along for part of that journey and believed in us enough to become the very first client of Amped‑Up Grants. Helping her establish her nonprofit, Culinary Hospitality Entrepreneurs Foundation (CHEF), was truly a blessing and a moment we’ll always be grateful for.

And let’s talk about the treats 😍 After hearing her story, we were lucky enough to sample her divinity and chocolate cake - made straight from vintage recipe cards and books she inherited from her grandmother. You could literally taste the love, history, and tradition in every bite.

We started Amped-Up Grants with one simple belief: great nonprofits and communities deserve access to funding - and support from people who genuinely care. What began as a leap of faith has grown into a calling. We’ve had the honor of walking alongside nonprofits, cities, schools, and small organizations, helping them turn big dreams into funded realities.
