NYC Build 2026 was an incredible few days!

We had a great time connecting with industry peers, clients, and new faces across the construction and real estate space. Along with insightful conversations around cost trends and risk management, it was especially valuable to engage in discussions around sustainability, including local law requirements and energy benchmarking. The networking and knowledge sharing in this space continue to grow in importance across our industry.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth and took the time to meet with us. Events like this are a great reminder of how strong, collaborative, and forward-thinking this industry continues to be.

KOW Building Consultants was proud to participate in the America’s VetDogs Run & Dog Walk on September 28. 🐾 🇺🇸
Together with our families (and four-legged teammates!), we logged miles to help fund service and guide dogs for veterans and first responders.
Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who donated and cheered us on. Community impact is a team sport—and we’re honored to do our part.

Please join the entire KOW Building Consultants team in wishing Michael O’Lear a very relaxing and well-deserved retirement. Mike started at KOW in 1998 and grew into a top-notch inspector, mentor, coach, client problem solver, and fierce leader. His authentic and easy to get along with personality will always be remembered by our team, as well as lenders, contractors, developers, architects, or any stakeholder that touched one of his projects. Mike had the ability to walk onto a construction site and really assess if they were going finish on schedule or on budget. Mike has this amazing ability to deliver unfavorable news due to his open, honest, and transparent style.
 
Today may be Mike’s last day at KOW although he will always be part of the KOW family. Mike, enjoy working on your toys (snowmobiles, wave runners), special projects, relaxing at the Lake and playing more golf. Best of luck, you deserve it Mike😊
