When building a new construction home, every phase depends on the one before it. If something is installed incorrectly, whether it’s the foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or insulation, it can create a domino effect of problems that become much more expensive and difficult to fix later.
That’s why it’s so important to visit your new construction project regularly. Walk the site. Take photos and videos every visit. Compare the progress to the construction schedule. Ask questions when something doesn’t look right. Document concerns and communicate them immediately.
