Dubbed the "King of Cars" of America, Henry Ford was one of the first to apply assembly line production in automobile manufacturing. However, besides his achievements, few people know that he also had a period of continuous failure.
The first car company he founded went bankrupt after only a year and a half because it failed to make a profit. He then began borrowing money from friends and relatives to start the company again. But in the end, he was kicked out of the company by his own shareholders who thought Ford's management was ineffective.
Defeated, depressed, but he showed no despair or discouragement. A year later, Ford went on to form its 3rd company, Ford Motor, which is now one of the largest automobile corporations in the United States.
Được mệnh danh là “Ông vua xe hơi” của nước Mỹ, Henry Ford là một trong những người đầu tiên áp dụng sản xuất kiểu dây chuyền lắp ráp trong sản xuất ô tô. Tuy nhiên, bên cạnh những thành tựu đã đạt được, ít ai biết đến ông cũng đã có quãng thời gian liên tục phải đối mặt với thất bại.
Công ty xe hơi đầu tiên mà ông lập ra đã bị phá sản chỉ sau một năm rưỡi vì không tạo ra được lợi nhuận. Sau đó ông bắt đầu vay tiền từ bạn bè và người thân để thành lập công ty một lần nữa. Nhưng cuối cùng, ông lại bị chính các cổ đông của mình đuổi khỏi công ty vì họ cho rằng cung cách quản lý của Ford kém hiệu quả.
Thất bại, chán chường nhưng ông không hề tỏ ra tuyệt vọng, nản chí. Một năm sau, Ford tiếp tục lập nên công ty thứ 3, Ford Motor, và giờ đây đã trở thành một trong những tập đoàn sản xuất ô tô lớn nhất tại Mỹ.
