Happy Black History Month!
The HUB team is excited to be celebrating this illustrious month by educating our community on a few of the people that paved the way for us today.
First up, we have Ella Josephine Baker (1903-1986). Miss Baker was a heroine and pioneer in the Freedom Movement during the civil rights era. She spoke heavily against injustice among black and brown people and mass incarceration.
Today we celebrate you, Ms. Ella Baker. Thank you for your commitment to change.
