Friends and family — I’m excited to share that I am now accepting clients across Georgia

As part of my graduate training, I am serving as a Counseling Intern at Tiny Planet Counseling, providing low-cost counseling services under clinical supervision.

This allows clients to receive quality, ethical care at a more affordable rate.

I work with women, individuals, and couples navigating grief, anxiety, relational stress, and life transitions. For those who desire it, I also offer faith-integrated counseling.

If you or someone you know in Georgia is looking for support, I would be honored to serve.

Telehealth available statewide.

Need something to do with children who are missing their mom or loved one!

With Mother's Day approaching, the NACG invites you to try a remembrance activity that you can do with children who are grieving — a memory collage to honor their person. Each family member may create their own collage or make one together. You can find the supplies and step-by-step instructions in the graphic or listed below.

This activity is from the NACG Family Activity Book. To purchase, visit nacg.org/shop.

Supplies Needed:
- Paper, glue, scissors
- Pictures - from magazines, online, or photos of your person
- Crayons, markers, pencils
- Items around your home to decorate the collage

Instructions:
1. Ask each family member to create a collage representing their thoughts, feelings, or memories about the person who died.
2. Share your collages after everyone is finished.
3. Discuss what thoughts, feelings, or memories did you have about your person while making this? What did you learn about your person from this activity?

Variation:
- You can make one big family collage together.
- For those who do not have memories or who have few memories, suggest that they collage about what they know about your person from others or about wishes for the future they would want to share with the person who died.

Happy Mothers Day to all of the mom’s, mom figures, grandmothers etc!
To those who are missing your mom be easy on yourself. Take time remember and reflect on your mom. One thing I do is I do something that helps me remember my mom. I may get her favorite dessert, watch a favorite movie, listen to music or plant a floor in my garden.
However you chose may you have peace and some joy today!

Understanding Grief: The Journey We All Face

https://open.spotify.com/episode/5kll4ZAKIt1pMJOSNN7LIh...
This has been an very interesting year. I'm not surprised...when you make a decision to walk in your calling and your household has made a declaration to step out in faith; things will shake up. There has been several things that have happened to keep me quiet, question my call to become a licensed counselor, to make it difficult to move, and question my character, more. YET even with a swollen mouth I will not be silent I will boast in the goodness of the Lord!! I still have JOI!! I've sat on the launch my podcast...but no more. I've finally launched my first episode. Check it out!
