We wanna say it ain’t so but, it’s happening…one of our longtime Snoqualmie tasting room team members is leaving. Katie (and her husband, Patrick) are moving to Walla Walla – and while we are SO happy for them and their next chapter, we’re shedding some tears over here.
Everyone knows Katie! She has been a mainstay on Friday and Saturday shifts for a little over 6 years! She’s a Snoqualmie Ridge local who has the absolute knack for quickly making friends out of guests and colleagues, an outgoing and caring personality that shines through in her hospitality both inside and outside the workplace and to top it off, she’s always wearing a fantastic shade of lipstick!
What more can we say except that there is no one like you and we’re gonna miss you so very much (oh, and Patrick too, of course). We could wax on and on, but then this post would be WAY too long!
So, let’s celebrate them before they leave. We are throwing Katie & Patrick a going-away party this Saturday, Oct 24th at 6pm (until we decide to close it down) at the Snoqualmie tasting room. We’ll have tasty food and snacks to nibble on and of course, w**e. Come party with us! And if you can’t make it on Saturday, Katie’s last shift is this Friday 10/23, so you can stop in then to catch her.
