Fall is in the air, but so are mosquitoes! 🦟🍂

Two mosquito pools in Dodge County were found to carry West Nile Virus last week. These mosquitoes are still in our area, and their bites could make you or your loved ones sick!

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will be honoring Ralph Wagner during halftime at the Huskers' 11am home game tomorrow!🎉

If you’re going to the game, keep an eye on the field. Ralph will be on it as they recognize him and the tradition he and his late wife Janine have upheld. They’re the ONLY ones ever to have sat in those exact 16th-row seats. Through all those years, Ralph had only missed just four home games, driving 75 miles from Scribner every time.

When they bought those seats, the Huskers had sold out just 8 home games total. Now, Nebraska has sold out 404 consecutive home games at Memorial Stadium! That’s an NCAA record🏟️

Way to go, Ralph, that’s true loyalty!❤️🌽

Congratulations!

Congratulations to Kelby Dames and Kloey Wheelock on earning Trojan Strength Honors for attending at least 30 days of summer weights. Kelby earned Perfect Attendance Honors for the 3rd straight summer! The theme for this summer was "Be stronger than your excuses!" and Kelby and Kloey exemplified that motto! Great job, you two, and way to "Raise the Bar!"

for local post offices
Local post offices have new
phone numbers.
The Scribner, Snyder, Hooper
and Nickerson post offices no
longer have their local calling
numbers but have changed to new
numbers.
Persons trying to reach the Scribner Post Office will now have to
call 402-275-1143.
Those needed to get a hold of the
Hooper Post Office will need to
dial 402-656-1049; the Snyder
Post Office 402-205-2557 and
those needed to contact the Nickerson Post Office will now dial
402-512-0686.
