Mark your calendars, "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" will be holding our Christmas open house on Fridays and Saturdays from 6-8pm from November 27 - December 19, 2026. "The Night Before Christmas" will be read on Friday night, December 11, 2026, at 7pm. We are located at 1123 Manchester Court, Social Circle, GA 30025. It's Official!! An Old-Fashioned Christmas is registered as an LLC with the State of Georgia, Secretary of State. We are now working with the IRS to register as a charity organization. Several community members have asked us to register so they can be involved. This opens the path to expanding our efforts to help children and families at Christmas. 100% of everything donated goes to helping children and families during the Christmas season. We had a great time celebrating with the Georgia Christmas in Paris pageant last year. Santa even got his own pageant sash "Santa Holiday Explosion". Lots of pictures were taken and Santa gave the girls gifts. We look forward to attending another pageant in the future. We had a great time at Butter'dudder - Monroe for their Community Christmas Celebration. Their amazing staff entertained us for the evening and spent a lot of time with Santa. Look for dates this year and go visit them in Monroe in the Publix Shopping Center. Santa really liked the butter pecan ice cream and their many special treats they made for the holidays.

"The Night Before Christmas", last year Santa read to a special group of kids the story, had a question/answer session, took pictures, shared his favorite refreshments, and gave away presents. It was a really special night with nearly 30 kids and their families in attendance. Dates for this year will be Friday, December 11, 2026, at 7pm. Please RSVP by 12-4-26. An Old-Fashioned Christmas hosts an open house each year. It is an opportunity for kids to play in the snow, write letters to Santa, take pictures with Santa, enjoy some homemade snacks, and see all of the decorations. We would like to take the time to wish you and your family a very Happy and Safe 4th of July! Happy Birthday America!! I also want to recognize a special group of individuals, our Military and First Responders, public works personnel as well as the special people working at FEMA in the National Response Coordination Center who are monitoring operations for all the disasters and special events happening right now across our Great Nation!! While we are celebrating today the above mentioned individuals are sacrificing their time and risking their lives to allow us to celebrate and to have the freedoms we enjoy!
