Let’s have a quick reality check about appliance repair.

I’ve been in this trade for over 20 years. I stepped away for a minute, but coming back into the industry recently has been an eye-opener. Frankly, some of these "new guys" out there are a complete joke.

You know exactly who I’m talking about. The corporate franchises sending out "techs" who have 3 weeks of training, don't understand basic electrical diagnostics, and read from a tablet script just to condemn your machine and force a high-pressure sales pitch for a new unit. Or the fake internet brokers who take your call, sub it out to the lowest bidder, and disappear when your washer starts leaking worse than before.

Kendall’s Appliance Repair is the exact opposite.

I am an independent, master technician. I don't sell appliances, I don't partner with sketchy warranty companies, and I have zero incentive to tell you a machine is dead just to get an install fee.

I offer Repair & Maintenance Only. If it can be fixed, I fix it right the first time. If it genuinely makes more financial sense to replace it, I will give you a straight, unconflicted answer.

I’m in North Chattanooga today. Just finished a repair on freestanding range. All four burners were getting too hot. Replaced switches. Stove top operates like it’s supposed too.
