God knows the desires of our hearts, even the ones we don’t always say out loud. ❤️
I knew I had to travel to Des Moines, Iowa, for a work event, but what I didn’t know was that God had a little gift waiting for me there.
I’ve been missing my family so much lately, especially with Luke away playing college football.
A few days before his very first college game, Luke suffered a pretty bad concussion. It was heartbreaking. ❤️🩹 He had worked so hard for this season, and because of the concussion, he wasn’t able to play the first two games.
Then, for some reason, I felt prompted to look at his football schedule while I was going to be in Iowa.
And wouldn’t you know it…
Two days after my work event ended, Luke had a game just THREE HOURS AWAY from where I was going to be. In Iowa, of all places! 🥹❤️
You can call it a coincidence, but I call it God.
Only He knew how badly this mama needed to see her boy. Only He could have lined up the timing so perfectly and placed me close enough to be there.
And what a day it was. They won 35–7, the weather was absolutely beautiful, and Luke was sited up as a college player. 🥹
But the very best part?
I got a hug from my favorite guy in the whole land. ❤️
Sometimes God answers the desires of our hearts in the sweetest, most unexpected ways. He knew exactly what this mama needed, and He made a way.
God is so, so good. ❤️🙏
