October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month 🎀

If you’ve been into the Meadery, you know Sam! She’s the owner of Arctic Buzz and our badass mead-makin’ lady. Sam brings every batch to life with her creativity and her love for sharing great drinks with our community. We’re grateful to have her.

Back in August, Sam was diagnosed with breast cancer. This has brought some unexpected challenges her way. But if there’s one thing about Sam it’s that she’s a tough cookie! Even while navigating her cancer journey, she’s continued to keep things running at the Meadery with the same grit and determination she brings to everything she does. We’re happy to share that Sam is recovering well from her surgery and taking things one day at a time.

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re sending Sam and everyone affected by breast cancer a little extra love, strength, and support. You’ve got this, Sam! 💗
