Part-Time Team Leader

Location: Somerset, PA
Pay: $20 - 22/hour depending on experience

Have you managed a team in a commercial kitchen? Do you take pride in your work and enjoy teaching and coaching others? Are you dependable, organized, and adaptable? If this describes you, there is a new business coming to town and it’s a SWEET gig. Lead a team making delicious confections, and package them perfectly.

What You’ll Do:
✔ Manage the production schedule and shifts for your team
✔ Assure the kitchen safety and product quality standards are met or exceeded
✔ Assist in hiring, and lead training for new team members
✔ Prepare, pack, and label award-winning sweets
✔ Prepare orders and shipments, on-time and with high standards
✔ Assist with new product concepts and development

Hours:
o Annual Part-Time ~2-3 days a week year-round; 9 AM to 4 PM
o Seasonal: up to 5 days a week, November/December

What We’re Looking For:
• Management experience in a commercial kitchen
• A positive, can-do attitude
• Ability to stand and move comfortably (and lift up to 25 lbs)
• Friendly, fair, dependable, and detail-oriented

What You’ll Do:
✔ Prepare, pack, and label award-winning sweets
✔ Assist with preparing orders and shipments
✔ Clean kitchen equipment and keep everything organized
✔ Assist customers in the store as needed
✔ Jump in on special projects, especially during the holidays
Hours:
• Annual Part-Time, Weekend, and Seasonal positions are available. Example Schedules:
o Annual Part-Time ~2-3 days a week year-round; 9 AM to 4 PM
o Weekend/Saturday Shift 10 AM – 5 PM
o Seasonal: up to 5 days a week, November/December

What We’re Looking For:
