‼️We feel the need to clear some things up since a brand new company (2 months old) with the same name as ours, has opened up and is operating within 20 miles of ours.‼️
When their page was shared with us we felt it must have been a mistake and decided to reach out to them cordially. We have been in business since 2023, registered with the State soon after in 2024 and have a DBA as Dumpster Dogs. Family owned and operated, a lot of blood and sweat went into building this business up to what it is today. This is not a hobby, it helps support multiple families.
So you can imagine our frustration when we reached out to this company and despite them being a month or two old they had no interest in any compromise, other than telling us they would confirm with every customer they had the right company before renting to them 🥴. Instead they've decided to post false information, claiming we are 40 miles away, that we are not registered with the State, and who knows what else. Our service areas have always been very clearly listed. We have numerous invoices to prove our healthy business in that area. All we asked is that they consider a name change so that our customers do not confuse us. After all, they just started and they only have a few dumpsters.
The last thing a small business needs is mistaken identity when it comes to a negative review or a referral, business 101. We did our due diligence when we started this company not only with the State but on all social media platforms to ensure we were not stepping on any toes. Who knew a trademark would be necessary for a local dumpster company. And from my understanding, this company did the same thing, but thought 20+ miles was enough to use the same name for the same service anyway.
Thank you to all of our loyal customers for making this company successful beyond anything we initially imagined. We hope to keep growing and providing exceptional service to the entire South Coast.
