I few months ago we were featured in a CanvasRebel article. I'm so grateful for the chance to share my story.

One part I like, is how they represented my path from broke, debt-laiden college student to achieving goals that changed the trajectory of my life.

Aspirations of being a welding shop owner living by beach led me to Monterey where I discovered my inner-nerd via Personal Finance, and excel analytics which in turn led me into a career in analytics while inadvertantly creating a personal finance ecosystem that became the heart of our program today.

It’s so easy to find trouble if you know where to look.

Pop quiz what’s your credit score? (good or bad you should know your score at any given moment)
It’s easy to check and can signal trouble before you actually need to apply for credit or a loan.

If something seems sketchy go straight to your actual report, not just your score or the highlighted factors but the report that credit and lending companies use.

It will show you everything on your report and any notes, old names or addresses which can help you sniff out a problem and start to fix it.
