Dream Work Services is seeking a qualified and experienced jack-of-all-trades technician/handyman to join our team. We service commercial (mostly) and residential customers. Candidates should have at least 5 years experience in various handyman repairs in commercial. Must have a valid drivers license. You will have a work van and will be dispatched from your home. Below is some of the skills we are looking for in a technician. We are looking for someone who is reliable, honest, has a good attitude and professionalism. Pay will be based on your skill level.

Basic Skills:

Painting
Drywall/texture (must have experience)
Door repairs/commercial door repairs
Flooring (tile, vct, transitions, etc.)
Repair or replace general hardware
General handyman repair knowledge (must have experience)
Carpentry
Plumbing (must have experience)
Requirements:

Use of basic tools
Handling projects when needed
Heavy lifting, standing, bending, climbing ladders and reaching
Most work will be day time. Occasionally nights and weekends may be required
Ability to manage time and prioritize; must be able to follow instructions and schedules
Effective communication
Maintain a clean and professional appearance
Honest and trust worthy
Team Player
Must have the following:

Preferably 5 years experience in handyman work
Clean driving record and valid drivers license
Good communication skills, ability to use cell phone and apps
Be able to work alone and as a team
Willingness to learn new skills

We are looking for a thorough Maintenance Technician to undertake the responsibility to preserve the good condition and functionality of premises. You will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as painting, Plumbing (minor), Electrical (minor), Drywall, and Commercial Door Install. A Maintenance Technician is a thorough professional with a practical mind and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines. The goal is to maintain the buildings and common areas in the best possible condition.

Responsibilities

Survey buildings and repairs to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards
Perform maintenance of electrical systems (replace light bulbs and sockets, etc.)
Assist in the setup of plumbing and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary
Maintain Contact with office and Lead tech
Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.)
Conduct general upkeep procedures (e.g. landscaping) and other tasks as assigned (painting, carpentry etc.)
Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed
Skills

Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
High school diploma or equivalent; building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is desired
