Rest Easy Bear.

I want to thank you for the opportunity’s you gave me as a little kid riding around in the old firetrucks you owned and letting me see NJ while going to parades and wetdowns. I hope you looking down smiling seeing me owning my own firetruck sitting in the driveway of your old house.

PS Bear it’s like this house was always ment to have a firetruck in the driveway.

ROAD TRIP!

On our way home from the 2026 New Jersey Firemen’s Expo, we stopped for photos with local fire departments and made a visit to the historic New Egypt Speedway. A great way to wrap up the weekend with Engine 506!

Engine 506 attended the 7th Annual Cradle of Liberty Fire Muster in Wildwood, NJ, to close out a fantastic weekend at the 2026 New Jersey Firemen’s Expo!

This past weekend, we attended the annual New Jersey Firemen’s Expo, and it was fantastic as always!

Engine 506 got plenty of attention from fire buffs and the community alike. The truck made the trip to Wildwood and back without a single issue, and we enjoyed plenty of rides around the beautiful city.

We took part in several events throughout the weekend, including the Memorial Parade, the Cradle of Liberty Annual Fire Muster on the boardwalk, and the What Exit Fools Bash. Although we didn’t win at the parade, it was a beautiful event and a great time all around.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see Engine 506. We’re already looking forward to next year!

This past Saturday, we attended the 10th "Play Hook-e" Annual Veterans, Disabled Children & Active Military Fishing Day at Lake Julianna in Millstone Township, NJ.

It was an amazing day filled with good food, great company, and fantastic fishing!

It was also great to see the New Jersey Fire Museum in attendance with Ex-South Amboy Engine 10. The two Macks sat proudly alongside each other, seemingly sharing stories from their glory days! 🚒

It was a wonderful event dedicated to honoring our veterans and active military members, while raising awareness and support for children with disabilities. We were proud to be a part of it!

Late post.
It’s been exactly 3 years since the 74 was bought back home to South Amboy. Back to the place the 74 calls Home.

Just a little bit of fun and history.

When we started and purchased the Mack I had always said I wanted to bring the 74 down to wildwood. Well we worked hard and got the Engine up and ready and washed Thursday of wildwood. Charlie and myself set off and made the trip down on a wish and a dream and made it down. Well tonight wild scrolling Google Earth I came across this picture and had to share.
Made Voyage trip and a Google Earth picture to prove it. Wildwood 2025.

Here’s to 2026 adventures to come ahead.
