That form is not optional. It shows the health coverage and premium tax credit information that has to be reported correctly on your return.

If it is missing, entered wrong, or ignored, your refund can be delayed, your return may be rejected, or the IRS may send a notice later asking for corrections.

Before you file, check your Marketplace account and make sure your 1095-A is available and accurate.
