This evening, we invited some of our community partners and biggest fans for drinks at Manny’s Sports Bar for a Sideline Social (get it? Because World Cup? Anyways…). This is why we do what we do - getting people together on beautiful days like today to just hang and meet each other!

Our Food Interest Group went out for ice cream at La Rosita this evening! Who doesn’t love a summertime ice cream run?

Our Food Interest Group (FIG) is one of our most active interest groups - and our June hangout is to go grab ice cream at La Rosita! Our volunteer group has tried lots of fun new ways to make a difference in the community - we've sorted donations for the YWCA, made blankets for cancer patients with The Portage Collective, and packed lunches at Cultivate! There are lots of ways to get involved - learn about the next opportunity in the portal!

It's time for a long-overdue shout out and congratulations to our friend, Jason Yeiter! Jason is one of our amazing interest hosts, and this year he was unanimously picked as our very first Host of the Year! Jason isn't afraid to experiment and try out different kinds of hangouts, from board games to movie discussions to now tag-teaming the trivia group. He embodies what Connect is all about - meeting new people, connecting over shared interests, and always being a friendly face to others. Raise a glass of Diet Pepsi, no ice, for our friend Jason!
