Data helps communities make informed decisions, and now St. Joseph County has a new tool to support those conversations.

In partnership with St. Joseph County’s Division of Economic Development, enFocus helped create the new Economic Impact Assessment Dashboard, designed to track how major investments are shaping New Carlisle and the surrounding region.

This collaborative project brings important community data into one public place to support transparency, planning, and future growth.

Today’s enFocus Professional Development session gave our team a hands-on introduction to the world of 3D printing and CAD design.

Innovation Fellow, Joseph, led the group through free and accessible tools that make 3D modeling and printing more approachable for beginners and innovators alike. The session included an informational overview, followed by an interactive workshop in which participants built their own simple models in real time.

We love creating opportunities for our team to explore new technology, build practical skills, and keep learning together.

to an incredible week of innovation, collaboration, and community at IDEA Week 💡

We want to recognize two enFocus Fellows, Ryan Eilts and Bingjie Liu, for the huge role they played behind the scenes. Ryan spent months helping lay the foundation and coordinating details leading up to IDEA Week. When he welcomed a new baby just before the event began, Bingjie stepped in and helped carry everything across the finish line, jumping into months of planning in just a matter of weeks.

As Bingjie shared after the event, “It reminded me what trust and teamwork really look like.”

We’re proud of Ryan and Bingjie for representing enFocus so well and for helping make another successful IDEA Week possible. 👏

Roseanna Lemrow, one of our enFocus Fellows, recently coordinated the 5th bi-annual Student Immersion Experience with our partners, South Bend - Elkhart Regional Partnership.

"I had never before planned an event this large in my professional career (imagine how I felt knowing 30+ young adults were getting added to the mix 😵‍💫) but it went off without a hitch and I am putting it down as one of my proudest accomplishments. I was truly happy to connect with the students over the two-day Experience and hope that through conversation, camaraderie and good old Midwestern charm, that they were not only able to find employment opportunities but also take some of their first steps finding community here in the South Bend-Elkhart Region." - Roseanna
