Sensory Room Mural Complete!

Got to paint this for Meadow’s Edge Elementary. They have a system to help kids express themselves and hopefully get some peace when they are having a bad day for whatever reason. They have lines to trace with the butterflies on one wall, apples to count in the tree, and several directions in the boxes to help them refocus.
They wanted the scene to be relaxing and not too realistic so I went with the watercolor look.

The teachers were excited to use the room and said it was so peaceful they want to hang out in there sometimes! What a blessing it was to be asked to paint this!
