Still feeling the loss of this amazing mare. Working on the new property and plans for the future. Added new stock to the herd and working on the land. New location is coming along slowly but is worth the wait💕

We here a Vista View needed to take a huge pause for a moment. We lost one of the heartbeats/hoof beats of why we do this. Miss Hickory CD was so special to many lives she touched. From her silly fetching water bottles and bringing them back for another throw, to shaking the jingle bells while her human sang, to being gentle and kind to the little ones but still having enough grit to win a cutting class for her girl Kaylyn Moyer. We are working on the next step for Vista now after the break and will have exciting news as we relocate. Thank you everyone for the amazing support and love.

everyone talks.

one thing you’ll realize in the horse industry is that everyone talks.

you could be the most successful person and people will still belittle your name.

they whisper and make snide comments if you pull up in a nice rig and have nice horses that you worked your ass off for.

they laugh if you have a horse that doesn’t win, or has problems in the arena.

they glare and make up rumors as soon as someone is more successful then them.

everyone wants to take credit or talk bad about what you created or what you won.

people in this industry will find a problem with everything you do.

everyone assumes when you pull up in a ratty rig that you have a ratty horse too. but the second you pull up in a nice rig suddenly everything’s handed to you, and you don’t work for anything.

in this ever growing industry people feel the need to talk bad about people they don’t even know anything about.

this industry needs support now more then ever, so before you make ur snide comments or posts... just think about how you could be ruining this industry for someone else.
