Safety Day at G.W. Savage this year included topics like driver safety, PPE, safety bags, and worker’s compensation. We are so glad to have all of our employees participate from both the South Burlington and Rutland offices! We take safety seriously, and we want every person in the field and office to get home safely at the end of every day.
Working in restoration, our employees often walk into the homes of people having one of the worst days of their lives. Dealing with flooded homes, fires, mold, and hazardous materials and waste can often create unpredictable work environments. Because of the daily hazards of the job, we do our best to ensure we are providing all of our employees with the best resources, gear, education, and training we can offer to keep our employees well informed on safety procedures. We encourage all our employees to trust their instincts and take care of themselves and the people around them.
We want everyone to go home the same way they came in—safe and sound.
