No, I am not under witness protection. I've just had several things going on at once. Forgive my current intrusion but I wanted to re-visit with you for a moment.
Coaching can be a lonely profession. The client and the client's context and work are all important. I respect that and work within those parameters. And, believe me, it is so gratifying when clarity becomes reality and the actions that follow prove beneficial in so many venues. But, once I walk away or end the call, I'm separated from that person and his/her work or personal life.
Since the summer of 2019, I have had the privilege of once again putting on an organizational leadership mantle with three churches. I have aided them in weekly teaching, financial management, leadership development and a gradually increasing readiness for a preferred future. The privileges afforded such hands-on leadership have brought much needed balance and satisfaction back to my work.
