Ok. My last post on this page was created in the Year of Our Lord, 2023. You deserve an EXPLANATION. Over the next week or two, I'll pull back the curtain and use it to both inform and perhaps, help a bit in your journey.

Let me start with a confession. I have always been and will always be, a projects guy. Although, I have spent a lot of times in libraries and offices, I have used those times as preparation for DOING something. I am not a theorist, a philospher nor a teacher at heart. I am a person that wants to 'get busy with it.'

Question 1: If left to your primary motivation, do you most enjoy an internal life of reflection and study or a drive to analyze, resource and fix the things around you?

No, I am not under witness protection. I've just had several things going on at once. Forgive my current intrusion but I wanted to re-visit with you for a moment.

Coaching can be a lonely profession. The client and the client's context and work are all important. I respect that and work within those parameters. And, believe me, it is so gratifying when clarity becomes reality and the actions that follow prove beneficial in so many venues. But, once I walk away or end the call, I'm separated from that person and his/her work or personal life.

Since the summer of 2019, I have had the privilege of once again putting on an organizational leadership mantle with three churches. I have aided them in weekly teaching, financial management, leadership development and a gradually increasing readiness for a preferred future. The privileges afforded such hands-on leadership have brought much needed balance and satisfaction back to my work.

I promise to be more forthcoming in future days. I leave you with the nugget of truth below...
