💸 No More Surprise Withdrawals.

Utah’s HB 495 (Part 2) protects dental practices from insurance overreach.
Here’s what it means:
Effective January 1st, 2026:
• Insurers must notify providers in writing of refund requests 📝
• Dentists get 60 days from date of letter to appeal/refund ⏱️

When insurers make mistakes, dentists shouldn’t pay the price.
Utah made that law.

With HB 495, Utah made it illegal for insurers to automatically enroll dental offices into virtual credit card payments.

That means:
