🌙👀 Spotting sleepy cues vs. overtired cues can make all the difference in your little one's sleep routine! 😴😫
Sleepy cues are subtle signs of tiredness, like looking away, "the stare", reddish hue to the brows and eye lids. These cues can quickly turn to big yawns, rubbing eyes, and a little bit of fussiness. When we are noticing these things it is important to get baby down quickly!
If we wait too long those sleepy cues turn to overtired cues. These are more intense, like crankiness and pushing away, and a ridged body.
It's important to spot sleepy cues and not let your child get overtired because it can lead to difficulty falling asleep and staying asleep. 😱 So keep a close 👀 on those sleepy cues and get your little one snoozing peacefully! 🙌🏼

💤 When your baby finally starts sleeping independently, it feels like a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders. Suddenly, you have a little bit of extra time to yourself, and the possibilities are endless. It's important to remember that as a mom, taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of your little one. So here are a few things you can do when your baby is sleeping, to give yourself a much-needed break!

📺 Catch up on your favorite TV show without any interruptions. No more pausing to tend to a crying baby or constantly checking the monitor. You can finally relax and enjoy an episode (or three) guilt-free.

💅 Treat yourself to a much-needed beauty treatment. Whether it's a manicure, pedicure, or a face mask, take advantage of the quiet time to pamper yourself. You deserve it!

🛁 Take a luxurious bubble bath. Set the mood with some candles, put on some relaxing music, and sink into a tub of warm, bubbly water. This is the perfect way to unwind and destress after a long day of mom-ing.

🍷 Enjoy a glass (or two) of your favorite wine. As much as we love our little ones, sometimes a glass of wine is just what we need to decompress. So go ahead, pour yourself a glass and cheers to being a supermom!

🍳 Have breakfast in bed. Instead of rushing to make breakfast for the whole family, take this opportunity to make yourself a delicious meal and enjoy it in bed. Trust me, it's a game-changer.

🍴 Take a break from cooking. Use this time to order takeout or have leftovers. Give yourself a break from meal prepping and enjoy a night off from the kitchen. You deserve a break from cooking every now and then!

✨ As moms, we often forget to prioritize our own self-care. But it's important to remember that taking care of ourselves allows us to better take care of our little ones. So take some time for yourself when your baby is sleeping, and do the things that make you happy. You deserve it, mama! 💕

Every hug, every kiss, every snuggle adds to the unbreakable bond between a parent and their little one 💕
When it comes to sleep training and baby attachment we struggle thinking any cry it out method can impact our little one's attachment and bond, but in reality it doesn't. This is backed by research that attachment and bond is built throughout the day and how you show up for your baby..
When our little ones are practicing their independent sleeping skills it will translate to us as parents having the ability to be more well-rested and be able to show up for our babies better during the day.
Sleep learning is so important to be able to show up for you baby the best you can. Partner with me today to tune into your babies needs to get them sleeping better!

🎉Celebrating happy siblings sharing a room! 🤗 Here are some tips and tricks for making it work: 💡Soft lighting, and calming colors can create a peaceful shared space. 🎭Set boundaries and routines to help them establish their own personal space and time. 💤Make sure each child has their own designated sleeping area to avoid nighttime disruptions. Work on getting your toddlers buy in, so when it comes to bedtime we can keep the room quiet for a sleeping baby! Finally a white noise machine can be everyone's friend! ☀️ Rise and shine, little ones! While their early morning energy is cute, waking up at the crack of dawn can be exhausting for us parents. 💤 But fear not, here are a couple of tools that will help stop those early mornings!
1️⃣ Okay to wake clocks 🕰️
Just set the clock for a reasonable wake-up time and explain to your toddler that it's time to sleep until the light turns green 🟢 (even better, let them pick the color). And if they do wake up too early, don't give in to playtime.
2️⃣Gently walk them back to bed and set that boundary. Remind them it's not time to wake up yet.
3️⃣CONSISTENCY
Toddlers are all about pushing boundaries that we have set, so we need to be all about consistency!
With a little patience and routine, you'll all be getting some well-deserved sleep. 💤
