CALLING ALL ETSY SELLERS - As an Ecom seller there are a lot of good things about Etsy,
#1 at the top of the list...
- They have AMAZING CUSTOMERS...
✦ they are willing to spend more,
✦ they are generally pretty easy to work with and
✦ their customers are LOYAL. Really! Think about it - Etsy customers are typically purchasing for others which makes them amazing, loyal people - AKA, the BEST kind of customer!

The #1 Problem with Etsy???

Etsy cares about Etsy - NOT YOU!

What does that mean?

It means they don't care if your product is sitting next to your competitors product on their page.
It means they are in it for Etsy. Because you are servicing THEIR customer - NOT YOURS!
It means, YOU had better make Etsy look good, by being a 'Star Seller' - because when you do, they will "push you on the platform" (you know, right next to your competitors listings!)

And around and around we go!

AND - as long as you understand the game you are playing, you're good.

BUT, most online Etsy sellers who understand the game of Etsy, don't realize they could be making SO much MORE if they would change how they looked at Etsy.

At the end of the day, we know that Etsy is a "Selling Platform": meaning, YOU post your products and THEY bring you the traffic that will sell them.

Essentially, YOU are Etsy's employee.

You do all the work, you make the amazing product, you send the thank you insert, you make your package look great, you provide amazing images, prices and customer service and you show up tomorrow and do it again.

BUT - what if instead of looking at Etsy as a 'Selling Platform', what if you looked at Etsy as a 'Traffic Provider'.

Wouldn't it would literally change everything for you.

Imagine customers who have ALREADY said YES to YOUR product AND now, they are YOUR customer!

That's what I just figured out how to do AND in a totally legit way that brings customers to YOUR shop, added to YOUR email list and buying from YOU over and over again without ANY competitors in sight!

Don't give up on them, set up a win back campaign to see if you can't warm them up again - especially if they were a buyer (that's like dropping money and just deciding to not bend over and pick it up again).
