Uhg another rainy day. Marina waiting by the door to see if anybody is going to come out, drink some wine and tell her how beautiful she is. You wouldn't let a diva down, would you?

One of the items that led WinterHawk Vineyards to being the first Rhode Island Vineyard to achieving the first Better Beverage certification in the state was that we recycle a barrel conditioning solution (citric acid) for blueberry fertilizer. There are benefits to being green - half a pie off of one bush!

A wonderful night for Calin & Andrew's wedding, we used every glass in the building. I'd like to thank the 143rd airlift for the flyby!... I mean the totally random training exercise that I may or may not have had anything to do with. ;)

WinterHawk Vineyards Flower report: A day late ' I am nursing a sick winery cat. Lady Marina Chablis is on the mend; however I have prescribed bedrest, and she will not be attending tastings today. The butterfly terrace is in bloom and a better photographer then I should be able to catch a monarch or two.

My friend and ice sailing buddy stopped by with his sweet MG. If you want a nice back drop for a car photo and some really good wine, we are open Sat. and Sun 1:00 to 6:00

Terry, thank you and your team for coming out yesterday afternoon and recognizing our efforts. I especially appreciate your scratching the winery cat, Marina behind the ears. She thrives on recognition and is an integral part of our non-lethal pest control. Yes, she plays with all the pests, and I secretly think she has named them all.

WinterHawk Vineyards Weekend flower report. Lavender, while not spectacular yet! It is a project that I have been working on from seed for the last three years. Nice to see some flowers from them this year!
