Sal Khan, CEO of Khan Academy and Schoolhouse.world, highlighted a newly launched partnership with Carnegie Mellon University during the 2025 Commencement keynote address.

The Schoolhouse.world digital platform offers free educational services worldwide. The organizations are joining forces to broaden access to educational resources, while allowing CMU students to gain hands-on experience as tutors. 📚🤝

Through the collaboration, Carnegie Mellon will now consider a Schoolhouse portfolio of tutoring certifications and volunteer hours as part of its holistic undergraduate admissions review process.
