We at Terry’s Custom Coatings want to extend our sincere gratitude to our loyal customers for your unwavering dedication, commitment, and patience. Your support has allowed us to become a leader in the Chenango County area for powder coating. We like to say we’ve done it all—from trucks, cars, rims, and race car parts to custom décor—and none of it would have been possible without you.

With that being said, we have a few important maintenance needs to address, and we are excited to announce that we have purchased a new location to continue growing our operation. As we prepare to move, we will need to temporarily shut down.

We anticipate being fully up and running again by Summer 2026. In the meantime, we encourage our customers to plan for alternative resources (yes we have the contacts) or as we like to joke, you can always grab a can of spray paint from your local hardware store for the time being.

We understand this may throw a wrench into plans for race-car-building season, but please know that we are committed to coming back stronger, bigger, and better—in a brand-new location.

Had the pleasure to meet John earlier this year at a wedding and had many drinks and laughs with him during our evening out. Sending condolences to his family and everyone effected by this tragedy.

The New York State Troopers Police Benevolent Association Board of Directors and staff send our thoughts and prayers to the family, friends and coworkers of New York State Trooper John M. Grassia III, 30, who was killed on Friday in a helicopter crash while flying over the U.S.-Mexico border in Texas serving with the National Guard.

Trooper Grassia, who was dedicated to serving and protecting not only the citizens of New York State but also the citizens of the entire United States, will be remembered for his ultimate sacrifice.

Trooper Grassia joined the New York State Police in April 2022 and was most recently assigned to Troop G. Funeral arrangements are pending.
