It was Motorcycle Racing Overload this weekend - AWESOME
- MotoGP from Mugello - Italian GP
Ride of the Day - When Eddie oShea hit the front for Mlav racing in the MotoGP Moto3 Fansite Race - all those champs must have thought - who the hell is that? cracking ride and a real shame that ya got duffed up but you stayed in the top ten - fine ride -
Moto 2 expected - wanted to see smoking Joe Roberts racer at the front but alas he just couldn't hook that thing up.
The the GP - result written in the stars - Italians had a good day - and Martin just cant say it - "I got beaten by the better rider today"
dream time for Aprilia. Good to see mark back and diggia was awesome - AGAIN. Ogura almost hit the box but it was fair that Bagnia finally got something. But close to ride of the day - Diego Moreira! holy cow!
new speed record - wonder what number engine they blew up to get that! - 230mph is very fast!
And the Baggers - Not bad - looking forward to seeing more scraps with Mad Dog.
The WorldSBK from Aragon
Another win and a record for Aruba.it Racing - Ducati - bit of a 1 horse race but - Nicola Bulega has shown he now has the fight to come back in a race regardless of where he is.
Shame the Texas ripper Garrett Gerloff couldn't hook it up and beat the Bimotas but he did his best - thats all we can ask.
The Supersport race was awesome as well as the new sportbike class - hope they allow the yamaha a bit more power to make it a real fight but the triumph looked solid - as they all did -
good move on bringing in that class - solid
No Womens WCR - but i think it may have been a Spainfest!
Then the TT
Big 3 as Expected but HRC - Honda Racing Corporation s Dean Harrison was in a league of his own. The belief that guy has shows every time he leaves the line. - Hickman and Dunlop were a small step above Josh brooks and John McGuiness who were still flying - cant wait for Brooks to get that great looking suzuki on the box!
we suffered sadness and injuries during Practice but I know that all those folks watching would have been saying - don't stop - let them go - and go they did!
Hoping for more great weather and to see Dean go faster on his superstocker.
Moto America from Road America
Great Track great racing and shout out to Kayla Yakov - she has to be one of the finest, fastest female riders in the world now and her first supersport win in not Far away. Great racing and America really stepped it up this weekend - well attended event too! - Track looked awesome - Possible MotoGP track? methinks so
so after all that - I am tired out - oh well gonna go jump on the MT09 and go for a spin - see ya next time
