Brian Guillerault and Kaitlyn Raymond teamed up with Gary Orman, Reading Truck's Senior National Sales Manager - East, for the Ford Commercial Truck Association of New England’s annual Golf Outing last week at Cyprian Keyes Golf Club in Boylston, MA.

With both Hews Company and Reading Truck each proudly sponsoring the event, there was no shortage of representation on the course — or photo opportunities! 📸

A big night at the track for the Dow family! 🏁

We’re proud to cheer on our own Scott Dow and his family, whose young racers had a great night at Bartlett Bridge Raceway in Lyman, ME, earlier this month. Scott’s grandsons, Brody, 15, and Colter, 8, each took first place in their respective classes.

With Brody leading the points in the SR Sportsman Class and Colter now sitting second in the Box Stock Class, it’s been a great season for the Dow family!

Hews Company is proud to support Scott and his family on the track this season. Keep it going, Brody and Colter! 👏

This , we’re featuring three of nine new Service Trucks built for Irving Oil’s Fleet Maintenance team. 👏

These trucks equipped with Reading Truck Classic II Service Bodies provide the organized storage, accessible workspace, and added versatility their technicians need to bring the job to the field.

Spacemaker flip-open compartment tops, a Thieman Toplifter Tailgate, E-track rows, and other custom additions help make these trucks ready to support the work ahead.

This , we're featuring one of two new Stellar Industries NXT68-L Hooklifts built for the City of Lewiston's Lewiston Auburn Clean Water Authority. Mounted on a Western Star 47X chassis supplied by our friends at Freightliner & Western Star of Maine, this truck allows the team to quickly swap containers as work demands change—giving them the flexibility to tackle a variety of jobs with a single chassis.

Road to 100: From the Hews Company Archives 📸

As we look ahead to Hews Company's 100th anniversary in 2027, we're sharing photos and stories from our archives that reflect where we've been and how far we've come.

This advertisement appeared in a 1949 Portland, Maine phone book, when Hews Company was known as The Hews Body Co.

Take a closer look, and you'll notice many of the services featured then—truck bodies, repairs, lettering, refrigeration, and partnerships with industry manufacturers. Together, they reflect the same commitment to serving commercial truck customers that continues to guide us today.

While the equipment and technology have evolved over the decades, our dedication to quality workmanship and customer service has remained constant.

This is just one piece of our history, with many more still to come.

Two great days of networking, friendly competition, and impressive equipment. ⛳🤝

We had a fantastic time at the 2026 New Hampshire Good Roads Association Equipment Showcase Open, hosted at Pembroke Pines Country Club and Canterbury Woods Country Club.

🌅 We kicked things off on July 30 with the Summer Social, where industry friends came together for an evening of networking, great food, refreshing drinks, and plenty of conversation.

⛳ On July 31, golfers teed off across both courses for the Golf Tournament. Between the golf, on-course yard games, lunch, and awards BBQ, it was another fun day of friendly competition, meaningful conversations, and time well spent with customers, partners, and fellow members of the industry.

🚚 Throughout the event, attendees had the chance to check out a variety of trucks and equipment on display—including our Maintainer Service Body, which we were proud to showcase throughout the two-day event.

🙌 A big thank you to the New Hampshire Good Roads Association for hosting another outstanding Equipment Showcase Open. We appreciate all the work that goes into making this event a success and are already looking forward to next year!
