Frequently asked question.
Q) Theresa why are the refunds not as big as they were last year. Short answer.
A) I'm going to give you the 3 part answers.
1) They tax rate increase.
2) When your wages increased last year most people didn't change their exemptions to meet the increase. So now the taxes is due on the extra wages.
3) Many credits and expense has been omitted these changes on the 2018 1040 has caused adjusted gross to increase. Hint Force decreases the refund.
HOWEVER THERE'S T.A.G'S Taxes LLC goes that extra mile to get you the best refund possible. Don't forget to respond to any correspondence from the IRS or State. If not there could be uncomfortable situations.
