A recent survey on teens and cyberbullying revealed that nearly half of all U.S. teens have been bullied or harassed online, with physical appearance being a common reason why. Older girls, especially, reported being targeted because of their appearance.

Starting tomorrow, Empowered Flower Girl will host a two-part discussion via social media on the topic of "Mentoring Girls & Inspiring Sisterhood" (Jan. 17 on Facebook & Jan. 31 on Instagram, 6 to 7 p.m. ET).

We will address the survey results as well as what parents, educators and other youth advocates can do to support young people in these difficult times. Hope you'll join us.
