Today I'm taking a moment for reflection, and highly suggest you to do the same.
It's important to slow down and reflect to really see how far we've come, especially when we're feeling discouraged.
It's amazing to look back and think about where I was years ago to where I am now.
Before I started my VA business 3 years ago, I was a lost, fresh out of college graduate, unemployed and looking for a job with little luck.
I was struggling with my new identity as an adult and no longer a college student, and was trying to figure out who I was and who I wanted to be in the next phase of life.
It took many unfulfilling jobs to figure out what I wanted to do and was good at, but I finally realized this at the age of 25. I learned that I didn't want to work in the mental health field (which is what my Psychology degree was in), and instead wanted to find a job where I could help people but work from home, since helping others was my calling and what I enjoyed doing most.
Since I was having trouble finding the right job for me in the real world, I decided to create my own. Which is when I enrolled in a course to become a VA and start my business. I started by offering admin services, and my business has shifted over the years to now offering creative services like editing and social media management.
It's interesting to see how much my business has evolved since I started 3 years ago. The years have flown by, and I'm so grateful for the journey I've been on as a business owner. While it's tough at times, I've learned so much about myself and am blessed to be passionate about my work for the first time in my life. There's nothing more fulfilling than helping other female entrepreneurs manage and grow their businesses to success!
And now I'm at the point where I've obtained a wealth of knowledge about starting and growing a successful VA business that I want to share with new VAs to help them get to where I'm at! Which is why I'm offering coaching services this year, and I'm super excited about it! I know coaching is the next right step in my business journey, and I can't wait to impact so many women's lives this year!
