Following a life-threatening accident, one of our own, Firefighter Jake Johnson of Lacey Professional Firefighters IAFF Local 2903, remains hospitalized at Harborview Medical Center with extensive injuries.

Jake’s family, friends, his Lacey Fire brothers and sisters, and the broader fire service community are rallying around him during this difficult time. The WSCFF is sharing this opportunity for our members and supporters to come together and provide support directly to Jake and his family.

Our thoughts continue to be with our brothers and sisters of IAFF Local 828 and everyone in the Longview community following the Nippon chemical disaster on May 26.

The tragedy impacted so many families, including members of the Association of Western Pulp and Paper Workers, and the road to recovery continues.

This year, our brothers and sisters at IAFF Local 828 have committed to donating 100% of the proceeds from the Longview Salmon Derby directly to the families affected by the disaster. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a day on the water while supporting neighbors who still need our help.
