Heard this today. Just because you've never had any security breaches doesn't mean you don't need security or that there isn't a growing risk for additional security.

The world is changing, and the cyber risk landscape is changing faster than anything else. New security holes are being attacked before they're even discovered. With AI, threat actors are developing faster than defenders can respond. And it only takes one "crash" (incident) to destroy your whole business. A week or more of your computers being down is one thing, but can you handle the fines for a HIPAA breach caused by negligence?

Your Fortinet firewall is a welcome mat for hackers.

The admin credentials of 75,000 Fortinet devices have been found by a cyber intelligence group.
Multiple new critical vulnerabilities for Fortinet software have been found this year which would allow threat actors to execute arbitrary code on your devices (which means they effectively own your network).
Threat actors are actively exploiting those vulnerabilities around the world. We were recently called in to clean up after a ransomware attack that used Fortinet to access the network. It wasn't pretty.

Patch your devices. It's tedious and annoying when you have a business to run, but the other option is tens of thousands of dollars or more of damage to your business.
